Client - The UK’s largest telecoms provider
Objective - To visit local businesses in key urban areas on a door to door basis with the aim of promoting and generating sales of business products, designed for small to medium sized organisations.
Process - Candidates with a strong sales background were identified and recruited to undertake this activity. Upon completion of the necessary training, the team were provided with GPRS capable PDAs enabling real time data collection. Once the Field Executive had completed the call, they were able to upload the initial sales data back through to infinite Group’s head office. From here our Data Department was able to send out a ‘thank you’ e-mail to the prospect as well as forwarding the data to the client’s in-house business sales team. They in turn were able to follow up on the visit 15 minutes after the Field Executive had left.
Results - The qualification and pre-sale by the Field executive enabled the client to follow up "warm" leads in real time and dramatically increase their conversion rate. This uplift in sales meant that the activity more than paid for itself, demonstrating a true ROI (return on investment).
